RayTalk RBC-0153-K1/SC Tactical Skull Microphone (for helmets, Kenwood connector)
The RayTalk RBC-0153-K1/SC professional headset uses bone conduction technology for clear voice transmission in extremely noisy environments.
The microphone is placed directly under a protective helmet (firefighter, military, or rescue), where it picks up mechanical vibrations from the skull.
This completely eliminates ambient noise, such as the roar of engines, sirens, or wind.
The model is equipped with a durable coiled cable and a standard two-pin Kenwood (K1)
connector. Key Benefits and Features: Skull Bone Pickup:
Unlike conventional microphones, it does not pick up sound pressure from the mouth, but rather vibrations from the top of the head.
This ensures that ambient noise cannot penetrate the transmission.
Helmet-Compatible Design: The ergonomic, low-profile design with an adjustable, flexible strap fits perfectly under most emergency response and motorcycle helmets without causing discomfort.
Kenwood (K1): Equipped with a standard 2-pin connector (12 mm pitch, 2.5 mm and 3.5 mm jacks).
Fully compatible with Kenwood, Baofeng, Wouxun, AnyTone, and other two-way radios.
Spiral Cable (SC): A highly durable, PU-reinforced spiral cable with a Kevlar core prevents tangling, doesn’t pull on the head during movement, and resists high temperatures and chemicals.
The earpiece is designed not to block the ear canal, allowing the user to perfectly perceive the situation and sounds in the immediate surroundings (known as situational awareness).
