The long-awaited ANYTONE AT-D890UV
DMR transceiver model. New hardware revision 2026.
The AnyTone AT-D890UV is a handheld transceiver with a 2 m/70 cm range for digital DMR radio (compatible with MOTOTRBO Tier 1 and 2).
Of course, traditional FM operation is also supported. However, the user is not limited to pre-programmed channels.
Another important difference from many DMR radios is the ability to change most parameters (though unfortunately not all) directly on the device.
This means that minor adjustments do not always require a connection to a computer. However,
configuring all parameters (such as the DMR ID) is only possible using the appropriate computer software.
The AT-D890UV is the successor to the popular D878UV series.
New features of this device include a cross-band repeater (D-D, A-D, D-A, A-A) and the ability to receive VHF aviation radio in the AM band.
An advantage is that the radio supports full-duplex cross-band operation (FM). When transmitting on the 2-meter band, the receiver on the 70-centimeter band remains active and is not muted.
The five buttons on the transceiver can be freely assigned to user-defined functions, allowing each operator to customize the radio to their personal preferences.
The 1.77" color display offers an adjustable backlight level and remains clearly legible even in bright sunlight at maximum brightness.
To conserve power, the display can be set to dim after a configurable period of time.
The AnyTone AT-D890UV is equipped with a GPS receiver that enables the transmission of location data via radio (DMR-APRS and FM-APRS).
Of course, roaming is also supported—automatic selection of an accessible repeater based on a predefined list or GPS location.
